gantz-o Style: cinematic realistic. Inside a crumbling mega city of futuristic style at midnight, pale moonlight reflects off mirror-glass in blue-white shafts, creating extreme chiaroscuro lighting with blinding highlights on cracked steel floors and deep, swallowing black shadows that conceal most of the objects. A woman in a yellow yukata with a long sleeves stands motionless at the end of the room in the shadows, her bony fingers clutching a rosary with giant beads. Her face is in the shadows but faintly alien. The camera begins in a wide establishing shot at the far end of the aisle, then slowly tracks forward down the center of the nave as her head suddenly jerks 180 degrees with a wet, grinding crack of vertebrae, revealing empty black eye sockets and the thread beginning to tear open. As the camera closes in, buddhist bells, that echoes off the mirror walls. Distant gun shots toll distorted and out of tune, mixed with the sound of dripping water from cracked ceiling beams, she whispers faint repeating words in japanese she says "Namu Amida Butsu... Namu Amida Butsu...", and a rising dissonant string drone that peaks as she flexes her muscles and grows in size. Suddenly a giant minotaur monster appears in the skyscraper windows behind her as he passes by on the street below. His large size reaching up to her floor.
