Score_9_up, score _8_up, score_7_up, source_anime, BREAK, In the swamplands of Louisiana, a dilapidated plantation looms like a forgotten relic of a darker past. The setting is reminiscent of *The King in Yellow*, with its pervasive sense of decay and cursed imagery. A VHS tape, found buried in a dusty attic, presents a horrifying glimpse into the plantation's history. The footage, distorted by the grainy quality of the 1995 tape, reveals scenes of sinister rituals and eerie figures draped in yellow robes, their faces obscured. As the camera weaves through the shadowy halls, it captures grotesque symbols etched into rotting wood and walls, hinting at the eldritch forces at play. The swamplands outside are shrouded in fog, adding an unsettling atmosphere. The tape’s jittery frames and intermittent static heighten the sense of dread, portraying a nightmarish blend of supernatural horror and psychological thriller. The images speak of an ancient curse tied to Carcosa and an otherworldly entity that seems to haunt every corner of the plantation, leaving viewers with a lingering sense of dread and unease.
