The shrine room, dedicated to the veneration of ancestors and spirits, exudes a somber, sacred air. The central altar is adorned with an array of offerings: dried flowers, tarnished coins, and old, cracked sake cups. The altar is flanked by two tall, unlit candles, their wicks blackened and wax dripping down in frozen rivulets. Above the altar, a faded scroll depicts a fierce dragon entwined with a spirit, reflecting the room's dual sense of reverence and fear. Incense holders, filled with ashes, give off a lingering, faintly sweet aroma.
