LALhermitte richly detailed pastel drawing a rustic countryside scene unfolds with agricultural themes. In the foreground, several figures are caught in the act of hard labor, indicative of the harvest season. Women are depicted bending over, likely gathering hay or engaging in similar farm work, their silhouettes framed by the golden hues of the haystacks. Beyond them, other figures stand upright, engaged in work or surveying their progress. In the background, structures like farmhouses and a church are seen. The church with its cross atop its steeple, rising above the rest of the buildings, dominates the skyline. Trees sporadically add greenery, juxtaposing the earthy palette of the rest of the landscape. The top of the horizon is lined with small shrubs or trees on a high ground. The foreground is heavily laden with hay. An aged stone wall rises a few feet in height is also visible. The entire drawing is rendered in muted yellows and browns, pastel technique. The sky is a hazy color gradient of pink, white and light blue.<lora:LALhermitte:1>
