JPennell detailed black and white etching of Venice. It features several gondolas in the foreground, with an unclear group of people being seen on the left who seem to be getting on or off of the boats. In the very front there is a structure in the center, with gondolas adjacent to that on the left and right. There are a few gondolas to the side out in the water, with people in the boats. In the background on the left we can see several buildings and a boat sail. The building in the direct center is larger & more intricate. To the right we can see a massive tower.
