The interior of a gothic Warhammer 40k cathedral, vast and overwhelming in scale. Towering stone pillars carved with imperial iconography stretch into a vaulted ceiling lost in shadow. Massive stained-glass windows cast beams of cold, colored light onto the cracked marble floor, illuminating dust suspended in the air. Rows of rusted pews line the nave, their surfaces etched with aquilas and faded script. At the far end, an immense altar rises beneath a looming statue of the Emperor, flanked by robed servitors frozen in permanent vigil. Incense braziers hang from chains, unlit. A broken organ sits beneath one of the transept arches, its brass pipes tarnished and still. The entire space is lit with a dim, sickly gold glow from a sunken lumen globe embedded in the apse, casting elongated shadows across the ancient stonework.
