Night time ,A lone figure travelling a deserted highway a, barren waste land stretches out in all directions. remnants of a forgotten metropolis can be seen in the distance. His only companion an old mustang horse trails behind him. the occasional cactus or Joshua tree sparsely dot the land scape. The figure makes camp by the side of the highway, he makes a fire and lays his bedroll close to it to ward of the chill and loneliness of the desert night. His horse is hitched to a near by tree, As the man stares into the fire he draws a harmonica from his pack. Far in the distance a single light shines from the top of the metropolis, the full moon hangs low and heavy in the sky. He lies down on his bedroll legs crossed and arms folded behind his head as he stares at the stars, he looks for a guiding star. A coyote howls in the distance, the horse whinnies in reaction. The man stands and approaches his stallion, he lays a calming hand on the flank of the stallion. He checks the horses tack and offers the horse some feed, before removing his Winchester Lever Action Rifle, from its place on the horses saddle. He removes the saddle and bridle from the horse and lets it graze freely. As he returns to the camp fire he pulls a pouch of rolling tobacco from his back pocket. Sitting by the fire the places the tip of the cigarette in his mouth, He takes a deep drag of the cigarette and exhales slowly. He watches the silvery white smoke gently drift away in the still air of the night.
