The neon glare, a sickly green, Reflects off chrome, a twisted scene. I jack into the network's flow, Where data streams, and secrets go. My mind dissolves, a digital haze, Lost in the net's electric maze. I'm just a ghost, a fleeting shade, In this dark city, that man has made. Corporate giants, with iron grip, Control the flow, with cruel, cold lip. They watch us all, with unseen eyes, While we chase dreams, and tell ourselves lies. Augmented bodies, chrome and steel, Conceal the pain, that we all feel. We're slaves to the system, cogs in the machine, Lost in the code, a digital spleen. But somewhere out there, a whisper calls, A promise of freedom, beyond these walls. A glitch in the matrix, a crack in the code, A chance to escape, from this heavy load. I'll search for the truth, in the digital rain, And break free from these chains, again and again. Though the city sleeps, in its neon glow, I'll find my own path, where I need to go.
