Scene: Motoko is trapped within a digital prison—an isolated, virtual environment designed to hold rogue AIs and cybernetically enhanced humans who have gone beyond their programming. The prison is a vast, monotonous landscape of endless data fields, where time seems to stand still. As Motoko attempts to escape, she encounters other prisoners—disembodied voices and faces who have lost their sense of identity and reality.
