An interlinked maze of endless staircases that defy gravity, floating alone in the sky, twilight sky. Dizzying straight flagstone paths link between different staircase fragments, connecting them into a labyrinth. Two doors stand connected to pieces of staircase, offering unreachable salvation. The staircases are made of decrepit, old stone. On one small platform an old fashioned lamp-post provides a small island of safety and warmth. The image gives a strong sense of surreal menace and alienation, but also offers a hope of wonder and progress.
