"A culmination of themes from films and art of Ken Russell, Darron Arronofsky and Hubert Shelby Jr , Richard Kelly, A tormented figure, half-human, half-mechanical, stands center frame in a decaying art nouveau ballroom. Their skin is a patchwork of flesh and circuit boards, pulsating with an eerie blue glow. They wear a tattered Victorian dress that morphs into writhing tentacles at the hem.
