Gehrman, also known as the First Hunter, is one of the characters of Bloodborne. She is voiced by Daniel Flynn. She is a hunter who founded the Workshop, a secret place where hunters crafted their weapons and tools. She is also the host of the Hunter’s Dream, a realm where hunters can rest and replenish their supplies.She has grey hair that show her age, and pale blue eyes that reflect her wisdom and sorrow. She wears a long black coat with gold buttons and cuffs, a white shirt with a cravat, black pants and boots. She also wears a wide-brimmed hat that covers her face partially. She wields a weapon called Burial Blade, which can transform from a curved sword to a scythe. She also uses a pistol that can fire quicksilver bullets. Gehrman’s appearance and attire are reminiscent of classic Victorian lady, but also hint at her dark and tragic past.
