The exact function of most of the tools in this shop are indecipherable. Various workbenches are littered with exotic odds and ends, each containing far-too-many hinges, lenses, cogs and levers, and each apparently useless, to the trained eye. At the center of the room sits an ordinary wooden desk and a full-length mirror. Upon the desk, some ink and quills stand ready, beside a stack of fine parchment and a strand of measuring tape.
