Massive stairs lead up to a giant double archway that is the entrance to a large inner sanctum. The pillars grow in girth, and their inscriptions more exalted, as they near the top of the stairway. The noise from the Grand Hall barely reaches you at this height, and the sanctum itself is eerily quiet. It is pitch black here.
