For generations, the windmill had been a beloved landmark, its wooden blades creaking in the gentle breeze as it ground grain into flour for the local bakeries. But the windmill's picturesque existence was threatened when a fierce storm swept through the valley, knocking down a centuries-old oak tree that had stood sentinel beside the mill. The fallen tree now blocked the only bridge that spanned the churning River Raven, cutting off the village from the outside world. As the villagers gathered to assess the damage, they realized that the windmill's fate was inextricably tied to the bridge's reconstruction.
