In a picturesque landscape, at the edge of a dense forest and beside a raging river, there was an old, abandoned watermill. The mill, which had once ground grain for the surrounding villages, now stood still and empty. Its blades were motionless and its gears had turned to stone. The river, whose waters continued to rush past, had once provided power to the mill, grinding the grain within its walls. Now it stood deserted and quiet, a relic of a bygone era. One day, a young fox decided to make the watermill his hiding place. He found it calm and safe from the many dangers of the forest. Every day he returned there to rest, sleep or simply sit and dream. Days turned into weeks until one day, two children from a nearby village wandered through the woods and heard about the abandoned watermill. They were curious to see what was inside. They peeked through the windows and doors of the mill and found the young fox, who jumped up in surprise when he saw them. The children laughed at the startled expression on the fox's face and decided to catch him as a pet. But as they entered the mill, they suddenly noticed that the water in the river was rising rapidly under a bridge and that the situation in the area was becoming very dangerous. A flood threatened to submerge the mill and everything around it. The children were shocked and quickly backed out of the mill. They decided not to catch the fox after all, fearing for its safety in the rising waters.
