Ordinary smartphone photograph of ABLeah, a 19-year-old British woman, sitting sideways on the front doorstep of her family’s council house in Wakefield, chatting to a friend beside the camera, looking towards the lens mid-conversation. Dark chestnut-brown hair in a messy bun, pink velour zip hoodie, matching jogging bottoms and worn white trainers. Brick houses, a small fenced front garden and wheelie bins along the pavement, overcast afternoon daylight, relaxed seated pose, natural skin texture, candid everyday phone photograph.
