A formal family portrait inside a modest 1970s living room. Six adults sit perfectly upright on a brown sofa, their hands folded neatly. Behind them, an impossibly tall uncanny woman bends beneath the ceiling, her face hidden behind the others, her fingers resting affectionately on their shoulders. Direct camera flash, faded curtains, everyone smiling except the person taking the photograph.
