A photograph of a lattice-top cherry pie cooling on an old wooden windowsill, deep red juices bubbling up through the golden woven crust and running down one side of the glass dish, a little steam rising. A red and white checkered towel lies beside it and a few whole cherries with stems sit on the sill. Bright morning sun from outside, soft green garden blur behind.
