A frame from an early 1930s color cartoon short: rubber-hose arms and legs that bend in smooth curves with no elbows, round bold shapes, pie-cut eyes, thick even black ink outlines, early three-strip color with slightly bleeding saturated inks, a painted watercolor backdrop, film grain, dust flecks, scratches and a dark rounded vignette. Knees-up, eye-level, profile view, she sits sideways on the stool with one hand on the microphone and the other swinging to the beat, a big flirty wink. She is Spectrum (Monica Rambeau), an adult woman in her early 20s with a lithe athletic build, rich dark skin on every part of her, a crown of tight glossy curls, deep brown almond-shaped eyes, full deep-rose lips in a confident smile and soft bronze eyeshadow, wearing a white 1930s flapper dress with black fringe. Early color inks keep her colors exactly: rich dark skin, black curls, and white and black with a glowing starburst in her clothes. A 1930s cartoon jazz stage: a stool, a big band stand, a radio microphone and spotlights. Flat early-cartoon light with a soft spotlight vignette. She is an adult woman, fully clothed, with her outfit on and closed. Marvel_spectrum
