A photograph of a felt hand-and-rod puppet on a handmade puppet set: a soft foam head covered in fleece with visible seams, a wide hinged puppet mouth, large glossy plastic eyes, a felt nose, yarn hair, felt and fabric costume pieces stitched on, slim arms on thin rods with mitten-like four-finger hands, and a set built from felt, cardboard, paint and craft foam. Waist-up, seen from the floor looking up, the puppet of her stands with both fists planted on the windowsill and her shoulders rolled forward, a smoldering smirk. She is Volcana, an adult woman in her early 20s with warm light skin on every part of her, long orange hair falling past her shoulders, dark brown eyes, deep coral lips and warm copper eyeshadow, wearing a felt dark red dress and felt red jacket with a yarn orange mane. The fleece, yarn and felt are dyed in her colors exactly: long orange hair, dark brown eyes, and dark red and red in her clothes with a molten orange glow. A felt puppet blacksmith's forge: a cardboard window with a felt windowsill, a felt anvil, a pom-pom ember glow and an orange felt volcano in a painted sky. Warm television stage lighting from above with a soft spill on the fleece. She is an adult woman, fully clothed, with her outfit on and closed. DC_Comics_Volcana
