Intimate color photograph, a 24 year old woman with a short dark bob sits sideways on the edge of a low bed, a cream linen sheet gathered across her chest and lap, bare back and shoulders visible as she rests one hand on the mattress and looks toward the open window, framed from the waist up through a dark doorway, late afternoon sun passes through wooden shutters and casts strong diagonal bands across her shoulder and the ochre wall, a deep indigo bedspread remains in shadow, warm gold against cool blue, rich but restrained color, a private moment that feels naturally composed.
