An uneven narrow path winds around only part of the rim and disappears beneath a rough collapsed section. There is no visible horizon or sky. Place the lake off center, leaving a large black-blue rock mass across the lower left and a broad tangerine and coral mineral slope on the upper right. A few lemon-yellow planes touch the ridge tops, while violet shadows describe the deeper fractures. Keep the lake calm and relatively simple, with one irregular pale reserve near its edge. Vary the scale of the marks between smooth water, fractured rock and loose earth. The aerial composition should read immediately as a powerful arrangement of asymmetrical masses, then reveal credible terrain and subtle depth.
