A beautiful Icelandic woman of twenty-four stands beside an old car with the driver's door open on a black gravel road, zipping her jacket against the wind and squinting toward the camera with a tired, crooked smile. She has a broad face with high flat cheekbones, round pale blue eyes under a deep lid crease, light brows, a straight nose with a soft tip and full pale lips, her long white-blonde hair whipping sideways across her face. Weak sun slipping under the cloud lights the edges of her hair and the car roof while her face sits in cold shade. She wears a dark green parka and a grey knit beanie. Strong bokeh softens the empty landscape behind her: a moss-covered lava field, a single road marker post and distant mountains. The sky is enormous and stormy, with glowing cloud edges, soft haze, and clipped highlights where the sun cuts through, a pale flare streak across the frame. The uneven exposure, high contrast, dark ground elements. medium quality
