sheltercutawaymale, aged up Caption: The cutaway contains exactly 6 visible rooms: an upper-left greenhouse, an upper-right sewing room, a middle-left kitchen, a middle-right wash room, a lower-left bunk room, and a lower-right battery room. A narrow stair along the far left is circulation and is excluded from the room count. This is a semi-realistic illustrated cross-section of a forest eco-bunker under ferns and tree roots, with rain on the leaves outside and warm lamps inside. In the greenhouse, an adult East Asian man aged 23 with a long fringe and a slim neck ties tomato stems to a string. Clay pots, a watering can and a compost bucket line the floor. In the sewing room, an adult Black man aged 24 with shoulder-length locs and a narrow face runs a shirt through a treadle sewing machine. Bolts of olive cloth, scissors and a dress form stand beside him. In the kitchen, an adult white man aged 23 with a blond-brown bowl cut and freckled hands kneads dough on a floured board. A wood stove, hanging herbs and a jar of jam fill the shelves. In the wash room, an adult South Asian man aged 24 with a top knot and a gold chain wrings a shirt over a tin basin. Soap, a mirror, towels on pegs and a floor drain complete the room. In the bunk room, an adult Southeast Asian man aged 23 with a middle part and a small mole on his cheek writes in a notebook at a wall desk. Two bunks and a crate of books sit behind him. In the battery room, an adult Middle Eastern man aged 24 with a trimmed goatee and deep-set eyes tightens a cable on a bank of glass batteries. A fuse box and rubber mats cover the floor. Every person has a different face. Riveted gray steel frames the rooms, with crisp ink outlines and painterly shading.
