A young man kneels beside a tiny white arctic fox on a snowy forest path, offering his open empty palm for the animal to sniff. He looks down at it with a gentle smile, softened brows and flushed cheeks. He wears a moss-green padded expedition parka with cream fleece lining, an orange knitted scarf, loose dark brown cargo trousers and heavy winter boots. His red ponytail rests over his shoulder; his horns and pointed ears remain visible above the lowered hood. The man and fox form an intimate foreground pair on the left, while blue spruce trees and a small warmly lit cabin recede to the right. A hand-painted storybook illustration using soft pastel pencil, chalky gouache shapes and subtle paper texture, quiet blue snow reflecting warm lantern light. His complete kneeling silhouette fits comfortably inside the wide frame. yu
