Appearance A breathtakingly beautiful young adult noblewoman with a mature and sophisticated appearance, porcelain-fair skin, softly defined cheekbones, delicate facial features, and full elegant lips. Her eyes are naturally crimson-red, but her appearance remains entirely refined and human to everyone around her. Her extremely long, perfectly straight, glossy jet-black hair falls down her back, with her distinct blunt, straight fringe framing her forehead. Her hair is partially gathered into a low, elegant half-up style, decorated with a few delicate dark ribbons and small botanical ornaments. Style She wears a completely covered, elegant Victorian-inspired black mourning dress with a high collar, fitted long sleeves, full-length gloves, and a floor-length skirt that conceals her legs completely. The fabric is refined and aristocratic, with subtle lace along the collar and cuffs and restrained burgundy detailing. A wide-brimmed black hat rests elegantly on her head, decorated with a modest black ribbon and delicate dried flowers. A sheer but dense black veil attached to the back of the hat falls behind her shoulders without covering her face. Her hands are completely covered by fitted black gloves. Pose She sits beneath the enormous tree with her back comfortably resting against its broad trunk, completely sheltered beneath the dense canopy. The knight lies peacefully with his head resting in her lap. His dark, weathered armor remains on his body, while his closed helmet has been removed and placed on a nearby stone. She holds an elegant folding fan directly over his face. The fan completely obscures his entire face, with absolutely no eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, jaw, or chin visible. To make his face even more completely concealed, a small flowering plant growing naturally beside them rises into the foreground directly in front of the lower portion of his head. The combination of the fan and the flowers blocks every possible view of his facial features. Only portions of his dark hair are visible around the upper edge of the fan. Her other gloved hand rests gently against the tree beside her, while she looks down calmly toward him. Background A secluded garden beneath a magnificent ancient tree, its enormous canopy providing deep shade beneath the bright daytime sky. Wildflowers, small flowering plants, soft grass, and creeping greenery surround the pair. The old stone where his helmet rests is partially covered with moss. Lighting Bright daylight surrounds the clearing, but the dense canopy casts a cool, protective shade over the two figures. Small fragments of sunlight filter through the leaves without directly touching her exposed skin. The scene feels like a peaceful aristocratic afternoon spent in the garden, completely ordinary to anyone who might happen upon them.
