A giant orange octopus sits calmly in a small sunlit apartment kitchen, one tentacle stirring a pot on the stove, another watering a row of potted herbs on the windowsill. Black and white checkered floor, teal cabinets, butter yellow walls, a striped towel draped over a tentacle, flat afternoon light with soft shadows, straight on symmetrical framing, playful and strangely domestic mood.
