catusmorph, xenomorph, alien, a xenomorph crouches on top of a large machine housing in a half-dark engine room, its torso compressed low and its limbs folded into a compact predatory posture. Its tail loops around the machine in a tight coil and then rises behind it like a striking serpent, while its head is turned in profile with the inner jaw extending forward between glossy teeth. Steam and low backlighting give the whole scene a damp, predatory atmosphere.
