A waterfall pouring out of an immortal palace into the cloud sea: a long ribbon of white water falls from a gap between the palace terraces, drops through several layers of cloud and disappears entirely where it meets the cloud surface, its spray catching light along the way. Tang-style halls step down the cliff in tiers on both sides of the fall, with covered corridors crossing the gorge on slender timber bridges. The upper part of the frame is open sky and the lower part is dense cloud. Two tiny figures stand on one of the bridges looking down, their height less than the width of a single bridge post. Vertical composition from a slightly elevated viewpoint, cool diffused light with a single warm shaft raking across the falls, realistic cinematic rendering with deep layered mist and fine water spray.
