A man standing on a black volcanic beach in Iceland at night, the aurora borealis erupting across the entire sky behind him in massive curtains of electric green and deep magenta and hints of violet, the aurora reflecting off the wet black volcanic sand beneath his feet creating a mirror of green and pink light on the ground, his face and jacket lit by a warm campfire just out of frame to the left casting amber and orange tones across his features — creating a three-way color story of warm firelight on the subject against the cool green and magenta of the aurora against the deep black of the beach and volcanic rock formations, crashing white surf in the mid-ground adding one more tonal element, 24mm wide lens to capture the full scale of the sky, the color relationships in this image are cinematic perfection — warm subject against cool environment with the aurora providing the visual fireworks
