ASR, Abandoned Sand-filled Room, an abandoned underground industrial chamber built from aged brick and rough masonry, partially buried by deep windblown sand. A vaulted brick ceiling spans the room above crumbling stone walls, while a row of narrow rectangular openings in the rear wall sends strong shafts of warm sunlight through the dusty air. Sand forms uneven dunes around the abandoned equipment, suggesting decades of burial and neglect. Warm amber sunlight, suspended dust, deep shadows, corroded metal, weathered brick, and exposed electronics create the atmosphere of a forgotten technological facility reclaimed by desert sand
