At dawn’s first blush, the sky ignites, With hues of gold and crimson bright. Across the suburban sprawl they come, A fleet of triplanes, engines' hum. Wings of three in layered grace, Slice through morning’s velvet face. Menacing shadows, sleek and bold, Stories of freedom yet untold. Homes below in slumber deep, Awake from lifeless, dreamless sleep. Windows shudder, curtains sway, As hope arrives on break of day. Trailing these, an airship grand, Floats like a city, high and planned. Silhouettes against the sun, Promises of battles won. Its massive hull a floating star, Beacon seen from near and far. From lifeless streets to hopeful cries, A liberation from the skies. Passion stirs in hearts anew, Colors burst in every view. Gone the grey of yesterday, In its wake, a brighter way. The fleet above, a soaring sign, Of change to come, of life divine.
